He said 'I'm gonna take a picture' when he saw me pull out my camera. How could I say no, just look at those eyes!

Family Session
I photographed this beautiful family for their Holiday card and family portrait. The mother is great with child and glowing so beautifully. Her husband was willing to do whatever she wanted, but preferred to stay in his slippers. Their daughter is very photogenic, as you can tell, and never missed an opportunity to say 'CHEESE'! We had such fun walking through Balls Bluff Park in Virginia scouting out locations for portraits. They selected the second print for their Holiday Cards.

Ox is One...
My nephew is one year old! I can't believe it. I posted this pic, that I took of him when he was just a few weeks old, as a reminder of how quickly children grow up. We have to take the time to capture their special moments because we can never get them back. We have a 1 year session coming up soon. I can hardly wait!

Butterfly Garden
I spent the afternoon at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland this weekend photographing the 'wing fancy'. There were tons of species of butterflies in a beautiful rainforest type setting. I learned a lot, most importantly, nature is so beautiful and all of God's creations are magnificent. The butterflies were majestic.
Enjoy!

The Colors of Fall
I simply love this portrait of a beautiful fall landscape close to my home. I had captured the beauty of the trees during the summer and wondered what they would look like during peak season. Well as you can see for yourself, the landscape was breathtaking. I've sold a few of these prints!
Fraternal Resting Place
Experimenting with black and white conversions. I ventured out one snowy day to a cemetery in Frederick Maryland. I'd seen it a few times while traveling back and forth and was in complete awe of the size of the headstones and monuments. I waited until we had a nice snow and spent some time just before dusk capturing history.
Ten toes
This portrait is from a newborn session I did with my sister and nephew (Little Ox). We were anxiously awaiting his arrival and when he came I could not help but capture the special moments of his first few weeks in the world.
Young Love
I came upon these two in the park. I thought they were so cute, two high school aged teenagers in love...
Ft. Fisher Beach
This portrait is from Summer 2006. We went out to the beach around 9am to take advantage of the morning lighting. I love the saturation and overall beauty of this portrait.
